When you get your money back, how much, and how.

As soon as a higher successful purchase replaces your placement, a refund is requested automatically to your original payment method. You do not need to ask.
The refund is your placement price minus a fixed deduction of 5.5% + $1.40 (the percentage part is rounded up to the cent). This is a fixed deduction set by Ponzi to cover payment and refund processing costs.

If VAT or sales tax was added on top of the price at checkout, the tax on the refunded amount is refunded too. Your exact deduction and refund are shown before you pay.
Full refunds
You are refunded in full, with no deduction, if your payment is confirmed but your placement never starts: for example because another buyer took the billboard first, or because your 15-minute quote expired before the payment was confirmed.
No refund
If nobody outbids you, your brand simply stays on the billboard and no refund is triggered. There is no refund for changing your mind once your placement has started.
Timing
- Refunds are issued through Dodo Payments to the card you paid with. How quickly it appears depends on your bank.
- Your account page shows the refund status. A refund is marked as completed only once the payment provider confirms it.
- If you are outbid more than 30 days after paying, the card refund window has closed. We then refund you by bank transfer and will contact you at your account email to arrange it.
Problems
If a refund looks wrong or late, write to [email protected] from your account email before opening a dispute with your bank. A chargeback freezes the payment and slows everything down.
